Mr. Smith has a Bachelors with Honours (Upper Second) in Sport Studies and English from Brunel University (London) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Phys Ed and English) and a Master’s in Sport Science from the prestigious Loughborough University. He studied at the University of Cambridge for his Teaching English as a Foreign Language certification

Mr. Ortiz is currently advancing his educational and professional development by working to complete his second master’s degree. He has obtained degrees in English and psychology, and his dual discipline has provided him with a variety of opportunities to grow and become an educator and professional in English and mental health.  

Mr. Ortiz has a master’s degree in English and a bachelor’s degree in English and psychology from Lamar University.

Mr. Ortiz is a first-year educator working toward advancing his teaching abilities through direct experience in working with various populations and demographics. He is currently working on expanding his experience in teaching English by obtaining a TEFL/TESOL certification in order to expand his knowledge and professional development as an educator.

Mr. Ortiz has published several short stories in Pulse Literary Magazine at Lamar University. His most recent work involved working with a team of editors to prepare the 2019 international publication titled “Regional to Global transition of Refugee Mental Health towards Resilience” for Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) presented to numerous NGOs and the UN.
