Mr. Ortiz is a first-year educator working toward advancing his teaching abilities through direct experience in working with various populations and demographics. He is currently working on expanding his experience in teaching English by obtaining a TEFL/TESOL certification in order to expand his knowledge and professional development as an educator.
Mr. Ortiz has published several short stories in Pulse Literary Magazine at Lamar University.
